The first day they met 😍 Dj loves to kiss and hold his brother it makes my day every time he does. I had such a hard time postpartum with both boys, especially with D.J. Looking at these pics I would go through it all again each time. Seeing as I still have to take meds for my postpartum depression I’m still dealing with it all. I struggle making sure I take them and that I don’t fall into a depressive episode again. I say all the time I want to be “normal” whatever that means. In all honesty I have to remind myself almost everyday that it’s my normal. One day I might not need them or maybe I always will. I just have to remember God has me and so does my family. They always love me through it all. Someone got their first haircut today and was such a big boy about it. Daddy didn’t do too bad either, though I’m still crying over his curls being gone.

This...this is a hard picture for me to post. I hardly post pictures of just myself and mainly it’s because I never think I look good. I’m so hard on myself almost daily, when I’m only human. I get at myself because the house has been a mess for a week, the laundry has exploded everywhere and I haven’t been cooking like I should. A friend told me that my boys won’t remember that there were dishes in the sink or the laundry wasn’t done. They only care if their momma is happy. So on this Mother’s Day, I want to tell all you Mother’s out there that’s had a week like mine before. You’re doing amazing and you’re never alone. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!
