Whether it's a paper in school or time for a deep cleaning at home, I love splitting it up into small tasks that I can complete. If it's a project I have to get done by the end of the day, I set my alarm for every 45 minutes and as soon as it goes off Like I mentioned before, I schedule my week every Sunday in my calendar, blocking out times that I know are filled with classes, projects, work and cheer. I love learning new things and gaining new experiences, but it's also important to enjoy life, and when I get stressed I forget to have fun.
There are things more important in life than running through life, or running a race. I am definitely a planner, I make list, I block out/plan my day, and I absolutely love to cross things off my check list. I wanted to graduate this summer or last spring semester and be done with school, that was my goal! I searched for classes else where, thought about staying in Utah for the summer to finish up or taking all online classes for fall semester while I'm in Texas, but nothing panned out the way I had hoped.
This helps me to not be distracted when it's time for bed and helps me to go to bed right away. At the end of the day I write down everything that needs to get done the next day most important to least important. Drink 8 oz a day. I do it when I'm cleaning or doing laundry, it helps me to not get distracted by the tv and stay focused on the tasks I want to accomplish for that day.
If anyone wants to follow along or is training for a race, below is the schedule I'm trying keep up with. My mom sent it to me as soon as we signed up to run the race together. side (turned out, turned in and parallel) Whenever I run during the week, I've been doing a core workout after, I got this from one of my cheer coaches, 1 to 10 to 1 Sit Ups with 20 sec Planks in between: My husband bought me some new running shoes for Christmas!
