2019 Favorite Wedding Images

Maybe this will just be my new normal: from here on out, when everyone else is posting their “best of the best” images from the previous year in January, I’ll just be bringing up the rear with my post in February. Usually I start with my favorite roller coaster photos, my favorite portraits, then I go into my favorite engagement images, and I end everything with my favorite wedding photos – If you’d like to see some of my previous “favorite wedding” posts, you can find 2018’s favorite wedding images here, 2017’s favorite wedding images here, 2016’s favorite wedding images here, 2015’s favorite wedding images here, & 2014’s favorite wedding images here! These are my favorite wedding images from 2019 (in absolutely no particular order – seriously, I put all of my favorite images into a “randomizer” and this is the order it spit everything out in –

Rainy, Cold PA Engagement Session

before deciding to head up the road to Meghan’s Grandma’s house. Below Grandma’s house was a lake & a barn – and since both of those locations held strong, happy memories for Meghan, we wanted to start there – at a location that was rich with meaning & memories. We quickly ducked into Grandma’s house to warm up a bit & make sure it was okay that we took some photos in the barn. Meghan & I waited inside, while Justin & Meghan’s Dad worked on moving the 4-wheelers out of the barn.

Braelynn's 5th Birthday

Around early summer of last year, she discovered the PAW Patrol and slowly her obsession with these adorable, save-the-day, rescue pups grew. What made the PAW Patrol even more enticing was that there is PAW Patrol merchandise everywhere. When we hosted her Daniel Tiger themed 2nd birthday party, it was so hard to find Danielle Tiger anything (now, it’s a little bit easier, but the amount of Daniel Tiger merch is still pretty limited – especially when you compare the 5 Daniel Tiger items at Target vs. the entire aisle that is dedicated to the PAW Patrol!) Last year, Braelynn’s “big gift” from Mommy & Daddy was a kitchen set (which is still in our living room & played with daily).

Part 23 / Irwin, PA Wedding Photographer

So, I had never flown before – and being my first time flying plus my first time flying by myself, I wanted to be early. I waded with Derrick’s parents thru the sea of people out onto the lawn, looking slightly above everyone else’s heads, trying to spot my giant of a boyfriend. Some of Derrick’s extended family members also made the trip to attend the party & it was my first time meeting It was another 3-bedroom apartment with 5 new girls that I had never met before, but all of whom had extended their spring programs to stay working at Walt Disney World for another 3 months.
