Engagement to Wedding Day | Six Tips for Planning Your Wedding Photography. From our experience, and after consulting with a lot of experienced photographers that we work with, it’s safe to say that photographers book out about one to one and a half years in advance of the wedding day. Begin (seriously) planning your “day-of” wedding  timeline three months out from your wedding day. Not only will this give you peace of mind (hooray for one more thing checked off that t0-do list!), but sending your timeline out early to those who are heavily involved in your day will allow them to ask you questions right away (instead of on your day!) and avoid any stress that could be caused by timeline confusion on your wedding day (you know, like dad still in his underwear when he’s supposed to be ready for the father-daughter first look!).

The portions of the trip that I am sharing today include my two favorite parts from the whole trip — The Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park + Crater Lake! ! Also, I think this could be a Chevy ad … ; ) While visiting the northern Redwoods, we stayed in Crescent City! It is definitely the best little city to stay in — so close the Jedediah Smith State Park (less than 10 minutes! ).
