Alyssa from a year ago totally thought she had her shit together, and well today I’m sharing the shit I did learn within this past year because I’ve truly grown into a better version of myself I didn’t know could exist. Understand that when things don’t work out, to pivot It sucks when things don’t work out, I know. I can honestly say in the last year I’ve pivoted so much because I saw what worked and what didn’t work within my business, that I am in a much better place now than I would’ve been if I kept forcing things that clients and people around me didn’t want. I still can’t believe it’s been a year since I quit my job, but after reflecting on how far I’ve come, what I’ve accomplished, it’s insane.
so I opted for the New York Strip Steak which came with a side of Lobster Mac n Cheese and Ian got the Grilled Filet Mignon which came with a Butter Roasted Maine Lobster Tail! We got to see their outdoor bar and patio with a firepit and enjoy dinner closest to the waterfront view where we got to see the harbor which was so nice and romantic! If you’re interested in checking out Roy’s San Diego Waterfront or any other SDRW participating restaurants, don’t forget to check out the website for more information! *Special thanks to San Diego Restaurant Week and Roy’s San Diego Waterfront for arranging this dinner!
You guys, we got so fortunate to check out yet another participating restaurant for San Diego Restaurant Week and this time at Parc Bistro-Brasserie! Parc Bisro is located in Banker’s Hill, one of my favorite neighborhoods in San Diego because it’s conveniently located in between Downtown, Balboa, Park, and Little Italy! Parc Bistro is offering both lunch and dinner specials for SDRW and we had the opportunity to check out their 3-course dinner going for $50 a person. This restaurant by far had THE best dessert offerings, and I say that in a slight-biased tone because I love love love crème brûlée and Ian is a sucker for a good sorbet.
Coming from someone who travels quite often for her work, Maresa travels almost 10 times a month to present on how to maximize the visibility of your business on social media. She is a transformational speaker and shares her personal anecdotes and strategies to help businesses of any size grow their audience and business. As a business, to recognize the trends of technology and the fact that on a given person, they can have up to 2 connected devices, whereas at home they can have 7 connected devices which means there are 8-12 connected devices per household! We got to have our little foodie tour and tried a little bit of everything like the burger from H&F Burger, fresh and delicious handmade sushi from Miso Ko, coffee from Revelator Coffee (which was located inside West Elm), and AMAZING croissant-style Hundred Layer Doughnuts from Five Daughters Bakery!
