More than just beer connoisseurs, these super helpful experts were available to answer any beer-related question you could throw at them. They were more than happy to discuss what you liked and didn’t like about beer, provide some recommendations, and help you find the perfect brew. We were likely some of the more difficult people for the Beer Experts to work with simply because we enjoy trying all types of craft beer. Not only did the expert point us toward an really great brew (called Thriller from Stalwart Brewery – a chocolate double porter at 7.5%), he even purchased the sample for us, and returned a few minutes later to hear what we thought about it.
When it comes to gifting we all have those people who are difficult to buy for; or maybe we just want to kick it up a notch this year. Sure we could scroll through another “gift guide” listing the same old stuff, but we’re better than that! We want some unique gift ideas for the Freedom Seeker in our lives. When we landed we found an Internet kiosk and messaged our friend that we had arrived and were headed into the city to a hotel we just booked. We made some phone calls to the cruise line to determine our options should we miss the boat, then we worked with the train staff in a combination of broken English and broken German to find 1 potential connection through 3 stations … After a visit to the emergency room, she was able to get the medication needed to help her ear infections and allow her to board her plane home! Not only were we able to stay completely up-to-date on what was happening, but we got to video chat with the new parents and our brand new niece via Marco Polo a few hours after she was born!
There are times when certain areas of our lives require extreme focus, which causes other areas to be neglected, and that Here’s an example: As Freedom Seekers we may decide that we want to create a new mini-course for our community. Creating a course is no small feat, and takes a lot of hard work and focus that can last from 3 weeks and 3 months. During this time we may need to miss a piano recital, have to delegate a conference call, or miss a monthly lunch outing.
