I am not going to get into too much detail from a quantum physics standpoint here (I want to save that for another post), but I do want to address this phenomenon of how Monica and I came up with these similar ideas based on a single theme. Granted, deriving a kimono from a theme of florals is nothing completely groundbreaking, yet somehow, Monica and I both tapped into this idea of a kimono when presented with a them of Florals for Spring. It was the universe receiving my thoughts as energy, delivering them to her, and her responding to the energy she received. My sister doesn’t think it’s all that crazy until I start throwing terms around like quantum physics and collective consciousness and the energy of the universe.

Although it may seem as though it’s an incredibly small thing, running yourself a long hot bath and having a pamper session can make the world of difference. Whether you’ve had a hard day at work or you’re tired from being on your feet all day, taking the opportunity to pamper yourself is a great way to improve your mood. Whether it’s listening to a self-help podcast, visiting your therapist, or going to qigong therapy, healing processes can do you the world of good. Whether you’re heading out for the day or simply spending an evening at home, having those that love you around you can be incredibly soothing for the soul.

I am finding easy, casual hats like the slouchy hat to be quite practical for things such as bad hair days and long overdue root touch ups. Thank goodness for Linda Gibbs and her adorable handmade slouchy hats in a linen/cotton blend to hide this hair disaster straight into the Springtime!
