Teaching Through a Breast Cancer Diagnosis

In celebration of National Teacher Day, we’re sharing the story of Beth Shelton, an Algebra II teacher who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014. “When I’m at home I’m just thinking about myself and my condition,” Shelton said. “I couldn’t imagine going through this without him and unfortunately I knew people who were going through breast cancer that were also going through a divorce,” Shelton said. , that’s when I lose the ‘chemo taste’ in my mouth,” Shelton said.

National Mammography Day

The Doctor’s Surprise: Frances’ Story
