Let's elaborate!​ ​ 1. @lovecorkscrew was founded by Chrishon Lampley in 2013 in 2. Chicago, IL. Largely based in Chicago, you can still source Love Cork Screw wine here in NC at select @totalwine stores and @uncorkedraleigh located near Falls of Neuse.​ ​ 3. After launching with an initial 6 varietals, Love Cork Screw now offers 8 different varietals; Rosé, Pinot Grigio, Concord, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Niagara, Vino Blanco, and Sauvignon Blanc. Each has their own tag name creating it's own vibe.​ ​ 4. The Lampley (@thelampleystyle) consists of home good products designed by Black curators. The product line is vast ranging from candles and body products to accent pillows and barware. ​ ​ 5. Who doesn't like a good body butter? Even better, a wine scented body butter? Let's paint the picture: after a long day of work, you go to soak in the tub using a handmade soap from The Lampley... Glass of 'We Go High' Rosé on the side with "The Home Stretch" candle burning on the side. Once you step out, you lotion yourself up with the 02: Pineapple, Melon + Apple body butter... Yesterday, I was given the opportunity to support the @creativecampstudio Headshot Happy Hour event! I provided the featured wine @lovecorkscrew by way of my wine friend Chala, owner of @uncorkedraleigh. @lovecorkscrew is a Black Woman Owned wine brand based out of Chicago. I decided to go with 2 of the varietals for the event, those being 'We Go High' Rosé and 'Good Times Good Friends' Pinot Grigio. The goal was to have one dry option and a sweeter option just to shake things up 😉. You can find a select few varietals here in the Triangle at Uncorked Raleigh and select @totalwine locations in the area. Happy Tuesday! Sometimes, working after 5 looks like this for me. Gotta get it done but a little "juice" to help motivate never hurts. What does after 5 look like for you? ​ ​ This is a Fiano from Puglia, Italy. It's more of a medium bodied wine with a lot of green fruit notes, specifically pear and green apple. I found balance in the overall taste of the wine, the acidity just right to bring the wine together.
