and although I’ve certainly taken the time to look through our photos time and again, I haven’t had a chance to share out some of the best moments of our day, and some of the most challenging planning. So, for March, our wedding month, I’ll be sharing out the details of our day. Wedding planning can be stressful – between opinions, budgets, and the overall pressure, there’s no doubt that everyone reaches a moment where they think, “ March will include best questions to ask, useful bridal party gifts, how to balance a bridal party that doesn’t all know each other, where to seat the guests that could easily have been on the B list, and how to stay grounded in all of it.
I’ll be honest, I used a pre-made package – no shame in the game Brownie mix – and whatever ingredients your specific mix calls for. Mine called for 2 eggs, water, and oil Be sure your pan is sprayed down – including the sides Preheat your oven to the brownie cooking temperature 350* Prep your brownie mix by following your specific recipe directions (normally found on the box unless you’re magically making these from scratch! ) so I always feel calmed by that organization needs Pour the brownie mix over – so now you have a layer of cookie dough topped with Oreos and the brownie mix will cover all of it
It’s just like it sounds – there are float tanks that allow for private meditation and relaxation while floating in an Epsom salt tub. The tub area stays nice and warm, and since you’re now behind two doors, the space stays quiet. The salon I went to had an overhead light in the shower space but also a salt lamp. The host suggested that I leave just the salt lamp on when I went into the tub to make getting out easier, and I’m really glad I did.
While I’ll have monthly projects, I’m going to have a year-long theme. I need to find the energy and motivation to care about what I eat and how I move my body every day rather than grabbing something to eat while I rush through my day. I’m going to prioritize time for myself, and balance commitments from there. I’m not sure if undertaking all of this with a full time job, part time MBA, and a house with all DIY renovations is the best idea, but it seems like the only idea.
