Paint and Wallpaper for Girls Shared Bedroom: One Room Challenge Week 2

There is new paint and wallpaper for girls shared bedroom, and it is very exciting! The next step is to prep the last wall for the wallpaper from Livette’s wallpaper. Don’t skip on getting the right tools: seam roller, paint roller and brush, smoother, straight edge, level, bold line chalk reel to get a straight line to follow, sharp utility (box cutter) knife, step ladder, cotton glove to smooth the wallpaper, micro-fiber cloth so you can remove any glue that may get on the wallpaper. Prepare the wall–make sure the wall is clean, free of any bumps and use a wallpaper primer so that applying the wallpaper is easier and so the wallpaper will adhere to the wall better.

Girls Shared Bedroom: One Room Challenge Week 1

Since the youngest is now going to be in a big girl bed, I am very excited to transition the room into a shared girls bedroom that allows them the space to be happy and comfortable. The major changes to the room are the wall paint color, adding wallpaper (Livette’s Wallpaper), new trim and new windows (Renewal by Anderson). The black and white wallpaper brings energy to the room, which my girls have an overabundance of and the pink is feminine and soft. I am so excited to create a space that my girls feel special in and offers them some personal space, even though they are going to be in the same room.

Classy Kitchen Designs

Classy Kitchen Designs, like classy women, stick to tried-and-true techniques to add beauty, instead of counting on trends. I love beautiful, colorful patterns, but when it comes to expensive and highly used items in your kitchen I suggest you stick to solid colors and durable materials. A set of solid white or black dishes will be beautiful in kitchen after kitchen and table after table.
