For this mani, I used a UV Gel nail polish from Born Pretty Store named Sicily Past , which is a deep plum brown with holographic particles. The polish is from 'The name of Love' series, a collection of 12 holographic shades. I applied 2 coats of the UV Gel polish and topped with Born Pretty Store's no wipe top coat, which I highly recommend. Sicily Past is 6ml, the no wipe top coat is 10ml.

The polishes dried down to a smooth satin chrome effect which is stunning. The polishes weren't as satin smooth as over the false nails but they were just as lovely. I also applied a glossy top coat to my nails and the effect changed from a satin chrome to a shiny foil effect and also changed the colour of some of the polishes, the effect is still amazing, the top coat makes them look brighter. Here's another new collection from Avon, The Sassy Florals from the Mark Gel Shine Range. A set of 3 hot and 3 pastel shades, perfect for Spring and Summer. All are 2 coats without top coat to show you how glossy they are, however, I would always recommend using a top coat to increase the longevity of your mani. I'm so loving the Magnetic Cat Eye nail polishes from Store . It has a sheer dark base crammed with gold flakies and when you apply the magnet you get an amazing cosmic green stripe across the nail, it's truly amazing. I applied the Magnetic Cat Eye nail polish over a black base, if I hadn't, I would've had to apply quite a lot of coats to achieve the same effect. If you use magnetic nail polishes you'll know the magnetic stripe becomes less sharp as it dries.
