Shenandoah Valley, VA, is not only a picturesque area compliments of the Blue Ridge Mountains, it’s filled with fun things to do. And, while all three areas looked like fun, I chose Central Shenandoah Valley because of its rich American history, fun activities, and beautiful scenery. Hotel Madison – when I was asked which area of Shenandoah valley that I wanted to visit, a major reason for choosing the Central area was compliments of its ties to American history. I didn’t have the pleasure of visiting the actual deli in Shenandoah, VA, but I did have the pleasure of trying its sandwiches and sides.
I’ve made a list of the important things I’ll never forget to take to Disney World again so you can make sure to pack them. In many of the Disney World resorts, especially the Disney Value Resorts, outlets are at a premium. If you so forget, you can always purchase sunscreen at a Disney gift shop but you’ll be paying a premium price. If you’re driving to Disney World you have a little bit of wiggle room here (aka liquid laundry detergent), but for convenience’s sake, put a pod or two in your suitcase.
No surprise that Ben Levi Ross, who plays the title character, has Pittsburgh connections as he studied at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. Dear Evan Hansen isn’t a story that takes you to a happy magical land or asks you to suspend belief for two and a half hours; it deals with right now and issues that everyone has either felt or been a part of adult or teenager. Mental health is slowly becoming less of a taboo subject to discuss or even admit to and I imagine that Dear Evan Hansen has helped lift the veil; especially with the standout ‘ I don’t think there was a dry eye of anyone that has ever felt alone during the Act 1 finale.
If given the choice between staying at a Deluxe Resort one time per year or staying at a Value Resort three times a year, you can bet I’ll choose the latter. When my daughter was little, a pool was a pool was a pool, so a Value Resort pool was just as fun as a Deluxe one. All-Star Resorts (All-star Sports, All-Star Music and All-Star Movies) may pool hop between any of the pools. We started out at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, moved to Disney’s Caribbean Resort, and ended up at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.
