A week later, I received an email from Belk Campus Recruiters saying that they liked my resume and would like to pull me in for an interview! Then, I had to prepare–but how could I prepare for a job that didn’t have openings for me? It meant I had no expectations and could therefore not be disappointed, so I’d be able to stroll on into my interview with tons of accomplishments and charisma but without the nerves–a perfect recipe for interview success! The woman suggested that I look for their postings for e-commerce jobs and digital marketing jobs, but never told me what job that specific interview was for.

I made one of my absolute favorite lunches: salmon and asparagus. My salmon comes out so tender and flaky in the BEST way. Place salmon and asparagus on the same sheet Drizzle olive oil, salt and pepper on the salmon and asparagus And this salmon cost about $3.50, and the asparagus was maybe $2?

As a senior in college who is experiencing apartment living for the first time (besides living in Italy but that was a whole other ball game), I’m discovering the new world of buying groceries and cooking for myself. It’s a fun adventure, but I’m definitely navigating how to eat healthy without breaking the bank. Now that money is a factor into my eating decisions, I’m struggling with turning down unhealthy food when it’s listed as *free. While I’ve really mastered how to buy healthy groceries, I’m so struggling with attending campus events that offer free pizza, or working at Olive Garden and wanting to eat all the free food I get even though it’s horrible for me.

But I want you all to know that my brain is still buzzing with ideas about ways I can help people improve their overall happiness with perspective shifts and healthier lifestyles. But I have come out the other side, trusting myself more, understanding the value of my ideas and knowing that people, even in my personal life, have begun to view me in certain ways as a role model. I just published my first video and I am so so excited to really learn how to edit videos, thumbnails, figure out the best lighting, and create great content that can reach people.
