Since I began writing online several years ago, I’ve discovered many tools along the way that I use daily, weekly, or monthly to share content on my blog and on social media. If you’re new to blogging or writing online, then you may not know that your Pinterest images should all be oriented as portrait, not landscape. When Facebook is not showing the correct image for my blog or if it’s not showing any image at all, this site will help reset it I prefer this to Pixabay mainly because I think the images are a bit more artistic, but it tends to have more upright (portrait) images, which is good for Pinterest but not best to use for blog images.
As a follower of The Way trying to navigate our country’s racial landscape, I am deeply troubled by the white *Christian* silence, skepticism, and defense over the loss of Black and Brown lives. We’ll pay thousands of dollars to cross the ocean for 10 days with our church groups and take selfies with poor black kids who don’t speak English. We’ll devote our Sunday morning platforms to hear white voices share of their cross-cultural trips to serve people of color. We’ll need to repent of our silence as the oppressed have suffered and continue to suffer at the hands of a country that favors white bodies.
