I was buying a fancy water sweetened with maple syrup when I bought this at the store (very different). Why natural maple water: it’s not as dark as the photo makes it look lol Bourbon nosing kit! Here’s how to make it: • add 1oz of @buffalotrace to a mixing glass 🥃 • add 1oz of @godiva chocolate liqueur 🍫 • add 1.5oz of @silk dark chocolate peppermint almond creamer 🥄 • get a drinking glass & add ice ❄️ • add 2oz of @traderjoes • strain & pour the 🥃🥛 mixture over the cold ☕️ • add whipped cream (I used coconut whipped cream) • add some peppermint crumbles 🎁 • add 2 spritzes of @aliceandthemagician chocolate cake aromatics 🍫 Cheers & happy holidays 🎄

IG vs REALITY ⚡️ Nice hair vs one of my many bald spots (that’s gotten bigger in quarantine) 💁🏻♀️ While both photos are unfiltered & unedited, it’s important to me to show that my life isn’t perfect. Before I had this IG, I tended to follow a bunch of Influencers or celebrities that had better hair, clothes, houses, etc than me. 😶 Do I need those things? Absolutely not. However, constantly consuming that content left me feeling “less than” in my own life. So here I am, a couple years after “detoxing” my social media, spending most of my time away from my personal IG. Happy in my own skin & confident enough to show the real me. 🦋 The real me includes one of the many bald spots on my head. Trichotillomania spots front & center. Mediterranean Monday hey heyyy ✨ I’ve already had my fair share of wings, a burger & hot dogs this weekend 😂.... so we’re on to a little bit healthier of a meal. To make: • first cook wild rice (ours took 48 minutes) 🍚 • while that is cooking, coat diced up chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, sage & lemon juice 🍋 • put them on skewers with sliced red onion & bake at 400° for 20 mins (flipping over halfway) 🍢🧅 • while that bakes, sauté some cherry tomatoes & season with salt & pepper 🍅 • for the tzatziki, we like to make it dairy free. So we use Forager’s cashewgurt, a ton of fresh dill, freshly crackled Himalayan sea salt, half of a lemon’s juice & half of a diced cucumber all mixed together 🥒
We have been sipping on this Fitz 9 for over a year now! If you’ve been here a bit.... you saw that we cracked the top of our Old Fitz 11 🥺 luckily it was a clean break so no glass got in the bourbon. The week after, our bourbon lover friend, Scott came up to visit and we all downed it out of a recycled Weller bottle 🥃 So... moral of the story is to treat your good bottles & good friends with love & care 🖤
