I have included swatches and two eye looks created with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette that I’m reviewing today. The darker, edgier complement to Modern Renaissance, Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Eye Shadow Palette features 14 full-pigment shadows that range from grungy ultra-mattes, duo chromes, and bold metallics with an underground vibe. On the inside of the palette is the same neat layout you will find inside all of the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palettes. This palette contains 14 shades which consists of 11 mattes, 2 duochromes and 1 metallic.
I like to use a small amount and rub into my face with on top of my makeup, it breaks up the makeup and literally melts it. It leaves the skin super fresh and soft and so clean, a great product to use on its own or in conjunction with the other products. It’s literally been a savour for my dry skin the past two weeks thanks to the cold winter weather. This claimed to The texture reminds me of the Porefessional primer by Benefit and it works very similar except this made my skin a little more matte.
I’m back with the first blog post of the year reviewing the Too Faced The Sweet Smell Of Christmas Melted liquid lipstick set that was brought out as part of their Holiday collection. Melt your heart out with this stockingsized collection of melted matte liquefied long wear lipsticks in yummy Christmas scents cinnamon bear, pumpkin spice, hot buttered rum, and sugar cookie. I’m a sucker for cute packaging and the first thing that stood out about these liquid lipsticks for me was the cute little pictures on the lid. Im really impressed with the shade selection in this set, it’s perfect for those who like warm lipstick and each shade is super wearable for any look.
Starting off with skin care and a product that, as far as I’m aware of isn’t a dupe of anything. This is a dupe for the Glam Glow mud masks (I’m afraid I’m not sure which) I have looked up the ingredients to most of them and while some are similar a lot were missing from this dupe that the real had. As for the dupe it’s not the same, it’s smells different, has a greasier and thinner texture and is the wrong colour. Unfortunately I wouldn’t class this as a dupe, the colour payoff was minimal and it’s very glittery where as the original gives more of a fresh faced glow.
