Adam opens today’s podcast talking about director Joe Carnahan’s impressive resume, and goes on to rant about a local high school baseball team that got suspended after taking a senior photo. The guys talk about the success of his new movie, ‘Boss Level’, and the multi-year process of evolving the idea and getting the film made. They also discuss working with Mel Gibson and Frank Grillo, how the studio system has evolved and expanded, and what Joe’s path to success has been. In the last part of the show, Gina reads news stories about Chris Harrison’s apology tour, the latest with Dr. Seuss, Sofia Vergara’s embryo battle, Joe Biden’s thoughts on Texas reopening, and the return to music festivals this fall.
