1 Day at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore with family – Top things to do

We got confused by the name and reached Marina Bay but had to walk back to Bayfront station as its right next to the Hotel. Art & Science Museum is like no other Museum that we had seen before. Although we couldn’t afford to buy them it was good to window shop at least 😉 For kids, mall offers a digital interactive canvas where the interplay of visuals, music and lights create a magical effect and keeps children engaged. The sit out area between the museum and mall offers a great view of Singapore skyline and their glistening lights reflecting against the water. Sands Rewards card – Do opt for Sands rewards membership program (its free of cost), this will help you to earn discount for Museum entry and Skypark observation deck, also at restaurants.

Experience the ultimate luxury: ITC Grand Chola, Chennai

Hotel’s three separate wings feature a set of luxurious service apartments, large banquets and exhibition spaces, recreational facilities, fine dining and spacious rooms. It’s not only the timeless beauty and luxurious feel that makes ITC grand Chola an ideal place, its location is surely another plus point. Every nook and corner of the hotel reflects splendid taste and architecture, be it the high ceiling, sparkling granite walls & flooring, gigantic pillars, the grand stair case, vast open spaces or the royalty themed décor. It was a pleasant and memorable experience, I wouldn’t mind going back to ITC Grand Chola when I visit Chennai next time.

Experience the French Riviera in India: Weekend trip to Pondicherry

Rows of colonial houses mostly painted in white or yellow with typical wooden doors and windows, vines of Bougainvillea climbing the walls, clean streets, the cold moist wind from the sea gushing to your face, rays of rising sun making the water in the sea glisten. Although this place has many attractions to offer, but in this blog, we will focus more on experiencing the old-world charm of Pondicherry, Situated at a distance of 356 km from Bangalore and 165 km from Chennai. However, if you want to soak yourself into the old-world charm of Pondicherry, then look no further and select one of the hotels in the white town near promenade beach. The boutique shops in white town offer some unique jewelries, scarfs and dresses.

Day-outing from Bangalore to Kolar- Kolaramma temple & Someshvara temple

During our first visit, we explored 2 unique temples, Kotilingeshwara and Avani temple, read more about these beautiful temples here A day outing from Bangalore – 10th Century Avani temple and kotilingeshwara temple, kolar Popular for its gold fields (also known as KGF) , although the gold mines are not functional today, but kolar surely is gold mine of historical and architectural marvels specially beautifully carved temples. During our second day outing to Kolar, we panned to visit 2 of the most popular temples in Kolar – Kolaramma Temple & Someshvara Temple. Although there were few more places which I read about, but we thought it would be better to take time and visit these places next time. Over all, we had great time visiting these 2 temples, and I highly recommend visiting them even if you are not into temple visits..
