It’s also an incredibly easy city to visit and drive around (that’s not to say you won’t get lost in its narrow maze-like streets several times over); the weather is almost always glorious, the locals are friendly, and the food and drinks come (relatively) cheap. Head down to Barceloneta beach, walk along the beachfront boardwalk at sunset and then grab a drink at The W hotel and watch the sunset. With it’s hidden breathtaking bedroom views, chic modern style and easy to spot from anywhere, The W is always a winner. they have a relatively secret rooftop terrace which is open during summer, a few rooms with private terraces, and an opulent speak-easy style bar downstairs; which is pretty much a key requirement for me when travelling.

It’s safe to say after this weekend the weather will finally be taking a turn for the worse, and the only thing this means is that coats are coming out, and they are staying (for a while that is)! I’ve set out to find a long black coat that can be worn with pretty much everything for any occasion, something that isn’t too heavy as the winter freeze isn’t here just yet, but something light that I can wear even when it still gets a little warm outside. Their coats vary based on trends, this particular coat, however, isn’t on sale anymore, but similar styles are available and I’ve included the sales ones to make it easier for you guys to shop. Also, make sure before you put it away for next year give it a little TLC by taking it to the dry cleaner so it feels like new when next winter comes around– you’ll thank me later.

With the mission to share more of me and my life with you guys, you might know that through everything I do with the blog and being an influencer, I actually also have another very interesting career that I’ve been working simultaneously at for the past year! It’s not always easy and at times I’m faced with a lot of challenges on balancing everything, trying not freaking out about how much I have to do, but I’ve surprised myself over and over again with how much one can achieve in a day. Of course, it’s not all roses and pretty Instagram snaps, with hard work, comes some scarifies, mood swings, less time for friends and relationships and more time focusing on yourself, your mental help and ticking off your to-do list before bedtime! But hey, do it while you can I say, the rest will follow, and soon will reveal more about what I’ve been doing outside of blogging this past year.

With dark coloured jeans, take particular consideration to the washing instructions, you may have to hand wash or change the temp of the water to make sure the dye doesn’t run. We don’t all possess ‘standard’ leg lengths, but luckily a lot of denim brands offer various lengths. If you’re petite like me, you have the upper hand to your taller friends (a perk at last! ) as the ‘cropped’ variations will be closer to the length you need and you also have the extra fabric to take to a tailor if you really need to.
