😭8 years ago today I made the craziest GOD led move ever! I moved to GA after graduating college and my life for ever changed! After my summer trip to Bermuda (1), I packed my boxes 📦 and moved (2). Soon after I started substituting (3), then I met Eric and things quickly escalated (4), I’ve had the opportunity to work with major hair brands like alikaynaturals (5) that opened the doors to many other opportunities through the years. Once Eric and I got married, it wasn’t long before we announced our first pregnancy (6), then we purchased our first home (7) and life continued to drastically bless us. I had the pleasure to work for Delta (8) and that was truly one of my favorite seasons of this crazy life. While it didn’t last as long as I wished, our family continued growing (9) and man, my babies have truly been my favorite part of it all. (10) Now God, show me how good it can get because can it get any better? If you’ve ever thought of leaving your hometown, pray about it and then trust God! He has it all figured out. Just follow His lead! To everyone who has been a part of my story, thank you. Whether it was for just a season, it’s what God had already written. Excited to see what God does next!

Despite my faith wavering, He knew to continue reminding me WHO’s I am and WHO I am! 🥁 Ya girl is headed back into the classroom 👩🏽‍🏫 this fall🤭🥹 I never really thought I’d be saying those words again but after starting my substitute journey, I realized that God gave me a heart to teach (doesn’t necessarily means it’s always in the classroom) and in this season, He has me back where it all started (when I moved to GA). Recapping our time at The Soaky Mountains in Sevierville, TN! 🌊🎢 soakymountain Only 3.5 hours from Atlanta, and makes for the perfect weekend getaway with your friends and family! 📌Things to know: ⛱️Kids under 2 get in free ⛱️Cabanas and tickets can be purchased online for convenience. ⛱️They have lots of food options like chicken fingers, fries, pizza, burgers, ice cream, and even adult-friendly drinks. 🍔🍕🍦 ⛱️There are two children’s areas, tons of slides, and life jackets provided if needed. ⛱️All adult slides have height limits but some are ‘school aged children’ friendly 🚫No outside food allowed, but you can refill your water bottles at designated stands. Fenty BAY-BEEEE fentyhair the results are in ✨🤭 and when it comes to my baby’s hair, I am a serious product critic and I’m going to give the products I used a 10/10 and 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ! When it comes to shampoos, I don’t care too much for them as long as they clean the scalp, we’re good. But the ‘Rich One - Moisture and Repair’ shampoo really made me reconsider putting some thought into my shampoos. I’m definitely looking forward to trying it on my next wash day! The conditioner?! 😭😭😭At first I was a bit scared that I might have to use the entire bottle on her hair but 5 pumps did the trick! With added water as I went, added that needed slip to comb right through her curls! Lastly, I used the ‘Homecurl’ (which is a play on home girl🤭😝 — cute cute badgalriri you did that) also had me shocked! The shine, the SLIP, and the definition it gave Hailey’s 4b/c hair really sealed the deal! However, I do wish there was a leave in conditioner because I’m all about layering and I believe it’s necessary especially for us moms that only style their girls hair every few weeks. Besides that, the edge control was only used a bit so I will share more of my thoughts on it once I decide to do a sleek ponytail. I will be doing a review on my transitioning hair in the next few weeks since the products arrived after my wash day. Should you try the products? Absolutely! Will you try them out?
