My name is Wanda! Nice to meet you! I live in San Antonio, Texas with my wonderful husband of 14 years, Daniel, and our fur babies, Paloma and Margarita. My husband and I love to travel and try new things, especially food! I have multiple food allergies, so it can be challenging at times. In 2020, I decided to start sharing our love of travel, food and new experiences. So I started my YouTube channel, Cruising for Food, and have enjoyed bringing you along on our journey. We love to cruise, go to the Disney theme parks, Las Vegas, stay at local hotels and try local restaurants, festivals, and more! All while living a gluten free lifestyle.

Today is National Superhero Day. When I was a kid, my favorite Superhero was Wonder Woman. I loved and admired what she stood for and aspired to be just like her--she was strong, smart, beautiful, and a good and kind person. She always helped others. You could always count on her! Today, my superheroes look a little different. They are the single moms who sacrifice everything for their kids; the son or daughter who is taking care of their elderly parent; my neighbor of over 20 years who will mow our lawn when he's mowing his, just because; my friends who are not afraid to make fun of themselves to make others laugh; the healthcare workers who got us through the pandemic, caring for others while risking their own health; and so many other ordinary people who do extraordinary things every day. No matter if they wear masks, capes, scrubs, or uniforms, whether they are fictional or real, everyone has someone they think of as a superhero.
