To be fair, I would like to point out that Slice The Pie doesn’t make outrageous claims in terms of compensation but it does sound like an easy gig, regardless. The first time I logged in, the site was looking for reviews of music and fashion, plus a “lucky dip” category that would assign you a random mix of the two to review. The higher quality your review, meaning the more descriptive and specific, the better your review is rated thus getting you to that higher payout rate. Maybe enough to pay for your Starbucks or a pedicure, but definitely won’t pay the big bills at home.

If you want to save around 5%, look at buying gift cards at Sam’s Club, BJ’s, Costco, or with the Target RedCard. You can also rent directly from a DVC member, but this is a major gamble since they could technically take over the reservation and leave you hanging (this is why I always recommend working with a reputable broker, like David’s Vacation Club Rentals). If you rent from a DVC broker, such as David’s the same one bedroom villa would be $3560 for the same dates (both rates are for the room only and don’t include tickets, travel insurance, or any other extras). There are other DVC brokers and rental companies to consider, but if you want to rent DVC points, you can’t go wrong with David’s.

We all know that Walt Disney World is full of “Disney magic” but it also features some pretty unique accommodations from cabins and treehouses to contemporary hotels with views of Magic Kingdom park. One of the most unique hotels at Disney World, or anywhere for that matter, is Animal Kingdom Lodge. Thirty different species call Animal Kingdom Lodge home, including giraffes, zebras, gazelles, impalas, kudu, and cranes (there’s a guide sheet in every room and plenty of markers around the resort to help you identify the 250 different animals on property). Other features of the Canyon Inn include the underground Cavern Grotto restaurant, cavern tours, ghost tours, and above ground accommodations featuring themed rooms, a bunkhouse, and the 1,800 square foot ranch house.

The Croque Madame was priced at $10.79 and the menu description was “classic French ham and cheese with fried egg” and was served with your choice of bacon, sausage, or fresh fruit. Other breakfast options were the Continental Breakfast consisting of a croissant, fresh fruit, and your choice of yogurt or overnight oats for $7.99 and the Primo Piatto Breakfast Platter which included scrambled eggs served over mascarpone polenta, a sweet brioche roll with bacon and sausage for $10.79. Other a la carte options were available if you didn’t want an entire entree and included bacon, overnight oats, sausage, regular Italian sausage as well as the plant-based Italian sausage ranging from $2.99 to $5.29. Kids’ menu items included a Mickey waffle with apple slices and a Danimals smoothie and a Primo Platter similar to the adult menu version with apple slices and Danimals smoothie in place of bacon and sausage.
