The Fisherman’s Bastion is one of the most iconic landmarks in Budapest.
The Fisherman’s Bastion faces the Danube, offering a great sight of the Parliament.
It was built between 1895 and 1902 over the old base of the antique fortifications of the Buda Castle.
Around the place, you will find a lot of statues of Hungarian historical characters like St. Stephen and the Árpád era warriors.
