I am absolutely GIDDY with excitement over our London trip. 💖 I have not felt this LIT up about travel in a very long time. I'm always excited about travel, but this feeling is different. 🗺 Every time I start planning and look at the map of London I'm drawn into my world as a twenty one year old starting my adult life. I was hooked straight away on being a small fish in a big bowl and making all my days adventurous. ✈ Making that decision to move to London completely changed the course of my life. It opened up the pathway to a life of constant travel without blogging, and now with it. Without a husband and kids. And now with a husband and kids. Craig is just as excited as are the girls. We're already talking of somehow making London a part of our future and I feel that nomadic itch coming back. I am GIDDY that I get to return to this special place with my two girls. I am so excited to share it with them and hopefully open up doorways that show them life is full of magic and possibilities. 💖💖 My only problem now is I see 2.5 years of memories and things to do on that London map and I want to DO. IT. ALL. I have to somehow contain it all into 8 days AND of course in a way that suits the girls. Circle Line Pub Crawls just aren't a good fit for them. 🍩 I really do want to take them to the Jewish bakery where I'd get a jam donut every morning on my way to school. It's out of the way, but there is no jam donut I've found to compare. What do you think? The FROTHING CAMEL.🐫🐪 Can you imagine seeing this camel in the pack taking you for a ride through the Wadi Rum desert? Rabies and COVID were having some kind of party on it's face! White foam was frothing out of its nose and mouth like someone had put too many suds in the washing machine. Every now and then his tongue lagged out, which only ramped up the intensity of our screeching laughter. 🤣🤣 I nearly fell of my camel. And this photo was taken after he had calmed down!! 👉 Swipe to see @heleneinbetween face as her husband, Michael jumped on, unperturbed, despite our suggestions that it might not be a good idea. You can see how he's riding off like a King! We're practicing as we're going to LONDON in two weeks!!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Craig and I have not been to London since 2003, and the girls never have. It's been at the top of their list for ages and we decided it was time to take the plunge and go. 🛩This is the biggest leap we've taken towards travel in years. And I'm sure, like all other leaps, we'll be glad we risked it. 😜It's scary as it's a big financial investment and the world is a little bonkers right now, but if you keep letting fears and excuses rule, you'll never do anything. And to be honest, since when hasn't the world been bonkers and in conflict? ✈ Thankfully, we've amassed nearly a million miles so we could use some of that for our flights! We're going to London for about 8 days and then a road trip to Bath, Oxford and Cambridge. 🧹Harry Potter is on the itinerary for everywhere! And we're busy now planning out the rest. So share your best tips! 👇 I'm so excited to return to my old home. We've missed London. I think it has to be one of the best cities in the world. I can't wait to show the girls and help them see more of what is possible for them.
