This past weekend I had a holiday party to attend and it was one of those parties where you can pretty much wear anything from casual to dressy. I like to think of it as the chic alternative to a holiday party dress, and it is much more unexpected. My date and I ended up at dinner afterward and we got so many compliments between the two of us on our outfits and it made me realize that dressing up is so much fun. I think I am going to make more of an effort to elevate my outfits when I go out at night because people really do notice and it makes that much more of a difference.

Every now and again, I will have a lazy Saturday at home and sip my coffee and have a sweet treat from the comforts of my cozy bed. Holiday parties are officially in full force which means its time to break out lots of holiday party dresses! I always look forward to this time of year because I love any excuse to dress up!  I am usually that girl that shows up to dinner completely overdressed just because I really wanted to wear something that has been hanging in my closet and I don’t even care. I love the crisp chill in the air, the holiday decor, and listening to Christmas music on repeat. I actually attended one of my favorite events, the CDM Christmas walk yesterday. It is a local event in Newport Beach that involves tons of restaurants and stores and we walk and stop at all of our favorite local spots drinking and eating and catching up with friends.
