… Twitter recently denied it’s developing an edit button after rumors swirled on the heels of Kim Kardashian and ProPublica Illinois journalist Logan Jaffe tweets that gave users hope there was one such feature in the works. “Twitter has said that it is not testing an edit button, via a Jim Halpert gif,” reports Mashable. The tool that Jaffe stumbled across, it turns out, is a Chrome plugin that lets users delete tweets with typos and publish the intended tweet sans typo. You’ve probably heard Kim Kardashian apparently invited Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to Kanye West’s birthday party in an effort to lobby for an edit button (Kim, you’re our hero!)
