Stuck in a loop for the past 8 days! Yup, Stephen and Daslynn caught the C bug. They tested positive last week. It was scary times then when we didn’t know how this would play out for us. At least they could quarantine together. It’s been tough being confined in a small space with our kids and all of us not feeling well! Roz and I tested negative, but have had the same flu-like symptoms. So strange how it seems among others as well that half of the household tend to be positive and the others not. Even though we’ve been altogether. And it’s a crazy thing being in the same house, yet feeling so far apart! We’ve been trying to keep safe and still live our lives with caution since this pandemy went down. And to think the most simplest thing ended up getting us! Somewhere along the way of running a couple errands after Christmas. Sigh. But, what has helped to not spread + mange the cooties is: ✨Mainly keeping Stephen and Daslynn in a separate space. ✨Isolated in their own bedroom/bathroom. Didn’t step out. ✨Picked up food and things they needed at the door. ✨Hydrated with water + electrolytes, vitamin C + zinc. ✨Diffused essential oils, slept elevated, not on our backs. ✨Sanitizing everything and wearing mask indoors. Our family has been so helpful with taking care of us and giving us tips to get well. Along with friends love and we consulted with our doctor as well. We are very fortunate and thankful! Stephen said it’s being in a well treated prison. LOL We are finally all on the mends yay!! Hoping you guys are on the upside of this mess! Shot taken by @casualfridays for @welkresorts. No new 2022 photo here because we’re still laying low trying to get well 🤧 But thankful for 2 years working together!! Long story short, Jan 2020 we took that second leap of faith in Stephen leaving his corporate IT job for the past 17 years to be a full time photographer, videographer, editor, and my coffee barista! 😬 Our first leap was when I left my 13 years behind in the finance field in 2018. I was working 3 jobs not counting being a mom. I was full time analyst, Poshmark seller, and a content creator with so many sleepless nights. It took a lot of work to get here and still so much work now. But, we did it— never thought we turned my hobby into our careers! And you can make your dreams happen too. Whatever it may be. Believe in yourself and work at it. Make 2022 your year! It’s been a fun learning experience of grinding around the clock. But, the offset of having more time together and being with our kids more. We could not be more thankful for ♥️ And we appreciate all of our family, friends, and our community here for all the support and love! Thank you! While we’ve been sick at home Stephen and I had a chance to put some things in perspective. We would have been going full speed with our plans ahead. This 2022 we want to be more intentional and live healthier habits! Manifesting more of these adventures. Like our first time going to Colorado last year. Time seems to slow down when roasting marshmallows. And sadly 🤒 when you’re sick too ugh!! We went from a fun Christmas getaway trip to all of us getting super sick since we got back. It’s tough alone when our kids aren’t feeling well and then with us sick too. It’s legit been a hot mess of messes here at home this whole week! This was taken on our better days when we went to Colorado for @welkresorts shot by @casualfridays. That perfectly roasted marshmallow is the best! Hope you had the Merriest Christmas!! ♥️ We gifted our family a getaway trip in the mountains. It’s become a traditional family Christmas trip. And this year we spent it at the beautiful Faerie Art Cabin. This is about the only time where we really switch up the pace and slow it down. We’ve been waiting for snow and finally today we got some snow! We really love that time spent together. Playing games, big laughs, Christmas songs, raising our glasses, the smell of my sisters cookies and our moms homemade meals.

Any Disneyland traditions? It's the Mad Tea Party first for us! Who’s doing the vacuuming today? Not it ha! 😬 That’s Stephen and our Roborock’s duty. But, I definitely make up for it with laundry and other things. We’ve got so much done while the kids are in school. We’ve cleaned every inch of our carpet, floors, windows, and seating areas! The Grinch has taken over Universal Studios Hollywood! 💚 We love this time of the year at @unistudios! So fun seeing the Grinch mess with everyone, the Topsy-turvy #Grinchmas tree light up during the show with snowfall!
