Things have changed from the days locked up in my uni dorm room playing anything from the old Duke Nukem and MechWarrior, to the single player mode of Command and Conquer and WarCraft (before ‘The World Of’ was added to the title), down to the still angular breasts of Lara Croft in early Tomb Raiders. The result showed that adult women tend to play games to “break away” from daily routine while getting some mental exercise at the same time. I could easily fit into any of those categories: adult woman playing to relax from school and ballet runs, or adult woman playing in the car while waiting for acrobatics class to finish, or adult woman buying games as a special treat instead of chocolates. Having said that, it is important for developers to bear in mind the playing habits of women, especially after Flurry Analytics said that in terms of gaming, women are more committed while men are more fickle.
If you have your pets with you, especially dogs, then camping is a wonderful experience for deeper bonding of friendship between you and your furry friend. Before you ever plan for a camping trip with your dog, make sure that you have contacted the camping site for confirmation if dogs are allowed. Give your pet a nice and sturdy collar that doesn’t come off in case your pet gets a little too frisky around nature. Although some camping parks offer water supply, it is never a bad idea to have a plan B. Don’t forget to pack some food too.
If you want to make a great scare at your office party or local neighbourhood gathering, consider creating your own DIY zombie make up. You don’t need latex or any fancy ingredients, just some usual home stuff you can find in your pantry. I dipped the cotton pads on the red dye so it’s bloodier. I used chocolate powder with the red dye to make blood.
