Well, here I am you guys… I haven’t posted on here in forever I didn’t take time for ME Well, I say I didn’t care and I was pretty certain that my friends were going to shun me for being a “salesperson”… Over the past almost 7 months, I have watched umpteen makeup tutorials on Youtube and become not only confident in my makeup skills but… confident in ME! !

So the other day you guys were so super supportive about my desire to homeschool that I thought, I should go ahead and get started even if we are still in school for awhile… but… We don’t always combine it with “education This craft took us about 3 hours altogether and was so much fun… I used my paper cutter to cut half sheets of regular paper and just used regular acrylic paint that I always have on hand We are going to put them all in a book so Myranda can share them at school and then will be hanging them in the girls room for letter and sound reference.

I miss taking them to do amazing things on my time rather than school breaks Over the past 5 months, I have become very acclimated to the few times where I need “kid free” time… Going to the DMV, making some phone calls, kayaking, taking a trip with friends, getting a tattoo… About once a month, I am super thankful for school and the girls after school program… I think we are going to finish out this school year and start exploring our homeschool options

I have looked like a boy since April… 😔 Chemo included an amazing visit from my oldest BFF, Trisha, she got to go with me to round 2(yippee) and we even got to meet Pauly Shore (who in retrospect, isn’t as cool as I always pictured… We spent our time in the hotel water park, on the Big Bus looking at the lights, checking out free shows and even went to Fremont where we got our pictures on the ceiling TV’s! We even got to meet up with my best friend Becky and her girls for an awesome day at the Magic House in St. Louis! Who my girls adore… And got to visit our friends Wendy and Rusty for the first time in ages…
