This list of chick lit set in New York City is a mix of chick lit books that follow the more traditional formula and ones that have more unique plots. Chick lit novels are rarely considered classics, but if there was a classic NYC based chick lit book it would be I Heart New York by Lindsey Kelk. I know chick lit isn’t the genre to go to for substance, but I find the best chick lit books have more to the plot than girl meets boy, girl and boy have conflict, but ultimately get together. There’s no shortage of books based in New York, but these chick lit books set in New York are some of the best.

Kansas City is best known for its slow smoked meat with a dry rub and is perfectly paired with KC BBQ sauce which is a thick and sweet BBQ sauce. The sauce is a little bit thinner than Joe’s or Q39’s but this is a classic KC stop. Because the traditions are intertwined, folks familiar with Texas or KC barbecue will feel right at home ordering ribs or pulled pork at any OKC barbecue joint.
While Atlanta doesn’t have a particular style of BBQ, the mix of different styles is what makes the BBQ in Atlanta so good. Most of the time I feel like the meat isn’t flavorful enough on its own without the sauce, but the brisket was so good here that I initially forgot to use the sauce. There’s much more to the history than that, but what you need to know is that in 2019 Wood’s Chapel BBQ was born in the old Wood’s Chapel! I wasn’t too nuts about the Carolina sauce and the house sauce was good, but not my top choice.
Yes, at the Paces Mill parking lot and close to the Ackers Drive parking lot. Coming from most locations in Atlanta the parking lot here is a little quicker to reach than the Columns Drive parking lot.
