Round 3 of lipstick roulette inspired by @passionate_panner ! So far this has helped me a lot to declutter, sadly found out via trying it that my @sugarpill lippie was long past its prime 😭! So it ended up decluttered. Round three lippies: Super Love from @pacificabeauty LSCL from @nyxcosmetics American Beauty from @besamecosmetics Swipe for swatches and to see the lippies I kept from round 2! And recapping the rules from round 1: I pick 3-4 lipsticks at random and use them for 2-3 weeks and then decide whether to keep them, or declutter and get rid of them. Hey y'all! I haven't done an introduction post in awhile and I've gained a lot of followers since my last one so I thought it would be a good time to 𝘳𝘦-introduce myself.⁣ ⁣ So hi! My name is Kodi MacLeod and I am 33 years old. I am a lesbian married to my 𝘨𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘰𝘶𝘴 wife, Lexi, and we have a chihuahua/pomeranian mix named Whiskey Chardonnay.⁣ ⁣ 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿; this is something important in my life. I'm a survivor of childhood sexual assault, murder attempts, and abuse at the hands of my father. Rape at the hands of an ex. Miscarriages. I have C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, and ADHD. ⁣ ⁣ And I still thrive, because I am a survivor. I don't bring it all up a lot here but I am a huge advocate for mental health and I am an open book about my life because I want others to know that you can thrive still even fighting your own brain. It's not been easy and there are still bad days, but 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.⁣ ⁣ I am an Aries sun/Capricorn moon/Cancer rising and I love that I know all this. I love horror movies, 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 is my favourite time of year, my favourite colour is red.⁣ ⁣ I love volunteering, I believe we are all responsible for making our own communities better. How about a pictorial? I've never done one of these before but I documented my look as I was going through it for the first time and though I would post it all up! Started out with @anastasiabeverlyhills eyeshadow primer, I used a brush and figured out the general shape of how I wanted it to end at the bottom. Then I started adding in the outlines of colour, I swatched 2 shades of each colour section, one darker and one lighter. The 3 palettes used are @morphebrushes James Charles palette and Live in Colour palette, and @rudecosmetics Roaring 20's neon palette. I used the darker of the two shades per section to outline. After that I added in the lighter colours per section and filled them in, I left them in perfect because I knew it would help add to the depth I wanted to create! Then I used @stargazerproducts white liquid liner and started lining the squares! I added more white liner to make it pop and started shading in the squares using the darker tone to give it more shadows and depth. And added in the lighter colour where it was needed as well. And added glitter from the @morphebrushes Icy Fantasy palette! And finally I finished off the whole look with @sumptuousbeauty 100% 3D mink lashes in Hollywood, @benefitcosmetics roller liner, and the @sugarpill Little Twin Star lippie duo 💖! Good afternoon y'all! Today I wanted to give a shout out to @imethodbeauty for reaching out to me and gifting me their Eyebrow Tattoo Pen to try out! It is a microblading eyebrow pen/marker with a forked tip. I've never used a brow marker or pen before, I usually stick with pomades and powders, so I'm happy that this wasn't too difficult to figure out how to use!
