The third and largest LEGOLAND theme park in the U. S. will be opening in 2021, just 60 miles from New York City! We first heard about LEGOLAND New York when we noticed it on a list of LEGOLAND theme park locations while planning our trip to LEGOLAND Florida. A few months later, LEGOLAND’s third U. S. theme park was officially announced along with a new LEGOLAND New York Hotel! One thing that we know from the announcement is that like most LEGOLAND locations, this new LEGOLAND theme park will include a 250-room LEGOLAND Hotel that will open along with the park.
We just don’t see how we can safely make Thanksgiving happen for us this year. Virtual or Zoom Thanksgiving dinners will be all the rage this year. With that in mind, I’ve come up with a few ideas that you can do to make your virtual Thanksgiving celebration a memorable one. For example, during our virtual Thanksgiving we plan on having a family game night, story time and my sister will do crafts with the kids.

Whether you’re looking to get back to nature, take in a round of golf, or learn more about the history of New York State, you’ll be able to find it in the Cooperstown area. Nestled on the banks of Otsego Lake, this beautiful park is home to the oldest covered bridge in America, Hyde Hall and nature as far as the eye can see. Take a tour of historic Hyde Hall during your visit to Glimmerglass State Park.
While the theme park and waterpark remain closed, Six Flags Great Adventure is opening its Wild Safari Drive-Thru for guests to enjoy from the comfort of their own cars, complete with an advance reservation system. From 1974 to 2012, the Safari experience at Six Flags Great Adventure was a self-guided tour that allowed guests to drive their own cars through exhibit after exhibit of animals. The tour guide was one of the highlights of my Safari Off Road Adventure experience at Six Flags Great Adventure last summer.
