Bobby James is married and has a son that serves as a teacher in public education in Alachua County. He is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals and Florida Association of Student Councils. Bobby James has been involved with Take Stock in Children, YMCA of Marion County, Leadership Ocala Youth Board, Marion County Boys and Girls Club, Marion County Public Education Foundation, Childhood Development Board, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Kiwanis Club of Ocala and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
Janice Johnson is a retired executive with a total of 45 years’ experience in both public and private sectors. She served in management roles in administration, operations and programs serving children and families. During a break in her service with the State of Florida, Janice worked as part of the original Kids Central management team, serving as COO and CEO. Most recently, she worked for Conduent, formerly part of Xerox, managing multiple international information technology teams.
He has a master’s degree in Instructional Design from the University of South Florida and has worked in a variety of educational settings over the past 15 years. Matt and his wife, Janna, have been licensed foster parents for the past six years and recently adopted three of their foster children. Matt lives in Clermont with his wife and six children and is an active member of Real Life Christian Church. Matt is passionate about foster care & adoption and providing children with the love, compassion, and support they deserve.
Lisa is a retired lawyer and health care executive with most of that work experience from her home state of Minnesota. She currently serves as a Guardian ad Litem in Marion County, typically working 5-6 ongoing cases. Lisa is also active in the animal rescue community, working with organizations such as the Marion County Animal Humane Society, Howey Horse Haven Rescue, and the Florida Wheaten Terrier Rescue. She provides foster care and rehabilitation care for complex dog and horse rescue cases at their horse farm in beautiful NW Ocala.
