Confession: I had to get rid of Instagram. I found myself comparing myself to so many women who I wanted to look like and be like. I wasn’t happy where I was, how I looked, how I felt. And I truly did not believe in myself. I realized how incredibly unhealthy and damaging that was on my mental health, and I had to eliminate it. That was 6 years ago. Fast forward to today, I recently gave Instagram another try, but this time it was for myself and my growth. I am starting a business and I know how important social media is for that, but I realize I do not need to/won’t use it to compare myself to others. I have people who I follow to inspire me, but if someone does not do that for me, I easily walk away. For my followers now and as time goes on, I promise to be an inspiration, and to help you evolve. This is what I am all about.
