Sure we have driven fancy cars for reviews on the blog, and the novelty of driving a fully loaded car with Bluetooth tech tended to blow our minds. In ’08, Mom and I loaded the two kids and our old dog Callie up in the Pacifica and hit Golden Ears. Coasted into Canadian Tire once with some expensive cooling thing gone cablooie and another time black smoke poured out of her as I was buying food for a carload of kids and teens at the local TripleO’s. I hope we build new memories and have much fun in our orange Rogue that the kids have named Q-Bert!
I just finished watching Walt Disney’s newest addition to their Signature Collection – Lady and the Tramp – with Tara and Caity. My kids were aghast at some of the attitudes and assumptions about pets and babies, many attitudes that still prevail today. The DVD comes with some great bonus features, including a mini documentary about the inspiration for the story.
