With so much greenwashing going on, it's hard to know what brands are truly keeping the environment in mind with their labor, ethics, and climate practices. One day while scrolling through a website I saw that a brand introduced new travel-sized versions of their products. This not only irritated me but got me thinking as to why a brand dedicated to being environmentally friendly would create waste by making mini versions of products that already fit TSA requirements? Why wouldn't they just encourage their customers to buy sustainable reusable travel containers instead? I think it's time we rethink the necessity of travel-sized products and start demanding brands stop wasting time and labor on creating them. Check out our new article to read more! _________ #travelsize #consciouslife #mindfulshopping #shiblaqbri #beautystandards #mindfulness #cincycocoabloggers #cincycreatives

Everything You Need to Know about Miche Beauty

Hello lovelies, today I am going to tell you everything you need to know about Miche Beauty products. Both the Moisturizing and Protein deep conditioner have good slip and penetrate my hair easily without me needing to add heat. A little can go a long way if you have short or fine hair, but if your hair is super thick I am not sure this is going to last you very long. I am going to tell you the LAVISH Leave-in Conditioner and the STRENGTHEN Protein/Moisture Balance

Summer Favorites

Summer of 2020 has been unconventional at best, but I did not let that stop me from trying new products and honing old skills. I have been doing new things like kayaking, hiking on actual trails that have elevation, and working out. Needless to say on top of working 40 hours a week I have been trying to stay busy. Summer isn’t over yet, but I wanted to share some of my favorite things with you anyway.

Top 3 Signs Your Hair is in Need of Protein

Typically protein treatments are administered by professional stylists, but if you are like me and aren’t able to see a stylist or just don’t feel comfortable with the COVID-19 situation right now to do hair visits then I have good news for you. Understand those protein treatments can help bring your hair back to life, but the only real way to fix the problem is for new hair to grow in and for the old hair to get cut off. Normally ingredients with variations of hydrolyzed wheat protein is a pretty good indication that a product is the topic of choice. Other ingredients can be hydrolyzed vegetable protein, hydrolyzed keratin, or hydrolyzed collagen.
