January 2020 Recap + Reviews

I kicked off the new year by reading 7 books and making progress toward my goal of reading 52 books this year (you’re correct in thinking that’s one book a week). I read mostly fiction last year and I vowed to read more non fiction this year so I can learn more. I don’t read a lot of books on parenting because I feel like my life is already mostly parenting, but I do feel that it’s important for me to seek out research on parenting as I would anything else non-toxic or wellness related. One of the things I enjoyed most about this book is that Sally shared so many anecdotes of her struggles within her life that I hadn’t previously heard (because I’ve read other books by the Clarksons).
