I guess I’m loyal, at least to The Body Shop! The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil: Same story with this little guy! The mascara wasn’t as wet as I thought it would be, I found it very dry. I’m currently working my way through a couple samples and older eyeliners, but then I’m going straight back to Gosh Velvet Touch in black!
The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash: Again, a great face wash that I will continue to buy… once my current hoard runs out. See, the Body Shop tea tree oil doesn’t smell great, but the smell is gone shortly after you use the product. It’s a nice, moisturizing lip butter with a hint of colour, but I just can’t do the glittery/shimmer anymore. If I had this colour and it was a plain crème or wash of colour or something, I’d still hang onto it (it may be a bit older than I’d like to admit), but it doesn’t,
This started with a coat of white (Sally Hansen Insta Dri White Pick The blue gradient consisted of: Sally Hansen Insta Dri White Pick It Fence, Essie Strut Your Stuff, China Glaze For Audrey, and F. U.N. Lacquer Starry Night of the Summer. Then I used the ol trusty Konad M59 stamping plate and Sally Hansen Insta Dri Silver Sweep and Konad Special White stamping polish for the snowflakes.
Of course, I didn’t buy any holiday colours, but it’s holo and has all the colours, so that’s sorta something? I used the sponge technique to apply the glitter, which means less coats of nail polish and way denser glitter coverage. Once that was dry, I painted some Black Holo Witch on a makeup sponge and sponged that glitter on top. On top of the Seche Vite I used Konad Special White stamping polish and Sally Hansen Insta Dri Silver Sweep to stamp on some snowflakes from the Konad M59 stamping plate.
