Wishing you all a very wonderful and merry Christmas! May you experience some joy, peace, and love today as you spend time with your loved ones. I pray for those of us who may have had a tough year and for those who are grieving a loss: May you feel God’s comforting presence all the more today. I love you💛 Merry Christmas from Zach and I. ✨

Let’s just say running really isn’t my portion 🥴 I had the most amazing time at my town’s inaugural annual color run. Hosted by the Mayor’s Youth Commission Scholarship Committee, this run not only was a way to sponsor and support our local youth, but also a fun and healthy way to bond with our families and friends. Zack and I really had a great time. It was so interesting to see him be a leader. Like I mentioned, running isn’t for me. 😂 Yet, Zack really pushed me, encouraged me and actually set goals during the run: “mom, let’s run to the next big tree and then we can get on the sidewalk to walk”. Isn’t he amazing?! Have you ever participated in a color run before? If not, would you? 👇🏾 #colorrun #healthyactivity #motherhoodunolugged #fitness #wellnessjourney #blackmomsblog #motherhoodunplugged #parentingblogger #momlifeunfiltered #motherhoodmoments #minime

My girls, my girls, my girls ✨ Gracing your timeline with a video of my beautiful sisters. We finally had a night together— our first one this year. Your girl is BLESSED to have these beauties in her life. 🥺💛 #sisters #girlsnightout #Paulgirls #famkreyol #ayiticherie

Your life is an open letter to the world. ✨ What are they reading? I recently had a conversation with a girlfriend of mine which reminded me of how people are always watching. There are many of you who are reading this — even though I haven’t met you personally — getting a peek into your life has been such a source of joy and inspiration for me! It’s really encouraged me to reflect on my own journey and how I choose to live out my life. I would love to hear from you: Looking at your life now, what can someone tell about you? What do you hope that we see? 👇🏾 📷: @shot2themun #flourish #motivation #openbook #godsplan #springstyle #petitefashion #springfashion #styleinspo #ootdblackgirl #haitianswithstyle

As I scroll up and down my timeline, one of my favorite thing to see that brings me such joy is pictures of families together. Whether it is with the matching and color coordinated outfits or with families doing fun things with their little ones, seeing all of that makes my heart SING! Special holidays like Easter and Christmas are probably one of my favorite times to be on social media. The joy in those videos and photos is palpable. And yes I know taking pictures with toddlers is a MAJOR feat; So kudos to you parents for pushing through take #75 to get that one perfect shot! I’ve also seen many of you incorporate new traditions this weekend and were more intentional about being present for your babies. What are some things you did this past weekend that are now part of your yearly tradition for your family? #motherhood #easter #resurrectionsunday #yearlytradition #blackmomsblog #blackmoms #parentingtip #motherhoodunplugged #parenting101 #parentingblogger #momlifeunfiltered #motherhoodmoments #springtime #minime

So, what does the other side of fear look like? I recently was hit with an epiphany and my heart jolted as I realized that the very thing that I was so scared to do was the exact thing that my soul needed to flourish. Mes amis! I remember writing last year about facing your fears, even as I had my own “fear walls” to climb over. What does the other side of fear look like? I’m here. I’m STANDING. And — dare I say — I’m THRIVING. The other side looks like growth and freedom. It looks like strength. Listen, I know how paralyzing fear is: Being inundated with doubts, indecisions, not knowing what the outcomes could unfold. Even now, as I write this, I can still think of things that I am working my way through. Crawl if you have to, but baby, that thing that you’re scared to do — push past the fear — and DO IT! Do it! Here’s the thing: Sometimes you HAVE TO DO IT AFRAID. It’ll be one the bravest things you do. Yet the reward will be worth it! And maybe one day, it’ll come to you and your heart will skip a beat like it did mine. And you’ll say to yourself, “I did it. I really did it.” Anyone else been there? ✋🏾what did the other side of fear looked like for you? #flourish #doitafraid #motivation #selflove #selfcare #faceyourfears #wellnessjourney #springstyle #petitefashion #Amazonfashion #springfashion #styleinspo #ootdblackgirl #haitianswithstyle Spring styles, NJ Blogger, Petite style, style inspo, minimal outfit, fashion blogger, effortless chic,

Lately I’ve been spending more time with my mother and it makes me reminisce of the times we shared growing up. As the eldest, I was the one she took along to do her grocery shopping. I was the one along side her in the kitchen as she cooked. I think of those rare moment where she would share memories of her childhood in Haiti and I would get a glimpse of what made her into the formidable woman she is today. Our conversations have shifted. They’ve gotten deeper and I’ve been able to share a bit more of my life with her and get words of wisdom from her. It wasn’t always this way. Being more ‘liberal’ than my mother, I always felt like I had to hide a part of me in order to keep her proud. Life has such a funny way of unveiling the things we try to hide though. Moments like these are core memories in the making. To be able to converse with her as one adult to another brings on a new aspect in our relationship and it’s something I will cherish forever. Do you have words of wisdom from your mama that you’ve kept and lived by? #honestmotherhood #motherdaughter #blackmomsdaily #blackmothers #generationalhealing #ayiti #haiti

“I feel like the dark cloud I’ve been under for these past few months is finally passing and the sun is finally shining through.” This is what I recently shared with someone who asked me how I was doing. What a feeling to have! I am humbled. For those who have been or are walking under some dark clouds, I want you to be encouraged. It DOES get brighter and it does get better. I pray that the sun shines ever so brightly in your life, mes amies!! Happy first day of spring!! 🌸 #hellospring #blooming #flourishhere #springstyle #healingjourney

Your tears are never wasted. It is okay to grieve and mourn your losses. You may have to sit with that for a while. Even if your reality right now may not look like it, there is peace, joy, freedom, and laughter on the other side. Let that hope be your guiding light. And remember that you are never alone. Someone you know may need to hear this. Share this with them. ✨ Have a beautiful Monday, mes amis!!! 💛 #hope #healingjourney #gentlereminders #intentionalliving #selfcare
