With intricate embroidery, a gorgeous neckline and sexy leg slits, this lace prom dress is one you can easily wear again for years to come. My only complaint about the red carpet this year was that the theme was too omnipresent and predictable, with everyone dressed in a similar Versace, Dolce or Jean Paul Gaultier frock. She always brings it to the Met Gala red carpet (I loved her look last year at the Rei Kawukabo exhibit), and this is one of my favourite looks she has ever worn to a Met Gala. I think Tesla’s stock might take a bit of a dive tomorrow morning after Elon Musk’s rumoured lady, Grimes, showed up to the 2018 Met Gala in this cheap corset that looked like it came from a suburban Hot Topic. This is the most sad, lame and off-theme look of the evening, earning her the spot as the worst dressed star at the 2018 Met Gala.

They are classic, but in a fun colour, like these rose gold Birkenstocks c/o DSW Canada, they can be a great pop to your outfit. The past year has been incredibly challenging but amazing; from graduating from law school, studying for the bar, to going to New York City; looking for an articling job, to getting an articling job, to articling; to travelling to San Diego and Iceland… and now, wrapping up my articles and getting called. I know that January is usually the time to set goals and new intentions, but with the completion of this milestone and a new season ahead, I’ve really been thinking about what I want out of life, and where I hope to go.
