Continue reading to learn when to plant trees and shrubs so they have the best chance of survival. If you plant a 50’ tree under a power line the best thing that will happen is the power company will trim your trees to get them out of the line. There are many small trees and shrubs that can be plant and will not grow into lines. The best time to plant trees and shrubs is usually the fall.

R Bentleys The park is 1300 square foot nature park, it has over 8 miles of paved hiking and biking trails, a 10 mile mountain bike trail,several picnic and pavilion areas, playgrounds, restrooms, exercise areas and kayak or canoe launch.

I have a neighbor who made a beautiful sitting area under her shade trees, with chairs, pretty yard ornaments and flowers in pots and planted in the ground along with mulch. These plants have showy foliage with varieties that have green leaves, yellow leaves and even varieties that have blue tinted leaves and about any variation between these varieties. There are many different varieties and can even be used as a shade ground cover, as they only grow 6” tall. These annual flowers pack a beautiful punch in the shade garden with their unique shaped rounded leaves to there bright colorful flowers they stand out in any yard.

The area has other beautiful trail one that even includes an overlook that has gorgeous views of the Ozarks be sure to visit in the autumn for great fall color. There is also a Holy Land Tour, Church in the Grove, a Bible Museum and History Museum, a petting zoo, hiking trails and even a piece of the Berlin Wall. This elegant hotel has a spa, restaurant, a few different bars, and of course a ghost tour. The story goes that when Elise Quigley’s husband Albert went to work at the lumber mill her and there 5 children tor down there home because Albert had been promising her he would build her dream home.
