I’ve been having such trouble lately balancing my personal life and my business/artistic life. I’ve come to the realization that balance might just be a myth. My best work always comes from long intense periods of focused work. I get obsessed with a technique or a concept. I spend hours tinkering and tweaking and studying. And you know what? I always feel guilty afterwords. I neglect to make nutritious food for myself or put an actual outfit on for the day. I lose balance. I’m done feeling guilty about that. I’m over it. Fuck balance! I don’t have to keep every aspect of my life in perfect harmony. Who says? My pajamas are comfy and I’m busy loving what I do. I can’t keep everyone else happy and myself all the time. I’m going to keep obsessing over my passions and following my whims because they give me so much joy. Especially when I just give in. So fuck balance! (New sticker design coming soon.)
