My name is Wilma Boekholt. My blog 'By Wilma' is my creative outlet, filled with all kinds of pretty things. I want to inspire you to make your own interior and fashion items.
I love a little bit of spice to my food but with a 3 year old I can’t just spice up every dish. Sambal is a great way to add a little bit of spice to individual dishes. The homemade Sambal Badjak recipe that I’m sharing with you today has many layers of sweet, sour and spicey. Put a little bit of oil in a frying pan and add the pepper mix.
You can use any ribbon you like for this project, as long as it’s not wider than 1/2 inch or 1,25 cm. For the flip flops I used a pair with a nice sturdy sole instead of a rubber sole. Use your lighter to burn the cut edges to prevent the ribbon from fraying. I hope you enjoyed this DIY because I’m planning on making more pretty flip flops very soon!
That’s why I decided to grow my own ginger from a store bought root. Ginger isn’t a fast growing plant, it takes weeks to root and months before you can harvest. I choose smaller pot to start the ginger root and move the plant to a bigger pot when the ginger grows. I use potting soil to which I add extra fertilizer every week.
I really love the bohemian interior style and if there’s one place you’ll find it a lot it’s Ibiza. A buffalo skull Ibiza-style! Cut the necklace to the right size for your buffalo skull. If it’s a beaded necklace (like mine) you can cut the necklace and thread the part you want to ckeep onto a new piece of nylon thread.
