Here is a tool that helps me tremendously if i slip into a funk. If you are thinking negatively, combat every SINGLE negative thought with one positive. You soon develop a skill of doing this and it becomes a lil more natural to look at the positive.😊 I’ll share a moment with you to help give perspective. I had a family member make a comment about my content the other day. As much as it effected me when I first saw the text, I pulled myself back, deleted the message before I read something I couldn’t forget, and remembered that that person loves me. Even though they haven’t been in my life lately and are looking from the outside, they still care and love me.❤️ Just because I made a decision to trust myself as an entrepreneur at such a young age rather than a “9-5” job doesn’t mean it was a bad decision. They will soon realize that too and it’s my job to show them.😇 We all deal with setbacks, it’s how we handle the situations afterwards that is important. I could’ve let that comment kill me and my content flow but instead I told that member I loved them deeply, I would not be engaging, and if they had a problem with something I post there is always an “unfollow” button.☺️ Aight I’ll wrap it up but I just want you to know, it’s not just you! Story time: I received this bottle of wine on my birthday from a restaurant in Miami @kushcoconutgrove . I was having a hard time eating due to the stomach issues I’ve been facing for a little while. Long story short I ended up crying out of frustration, all I wanted to do was have a blast on my bday yet I was sitting here gagging at fish & chips, French fries, grilled cheese (pretty much anything you put in my face😂) the kush community recognized this and they gifted me this bottle of wine to try and put a smile on my face and let me tell you.....I started crying more 😂 but happy tears!! I just could not believe a small team of workers could be so generous and make such a BIG impact on my 21st. Create before you consume. A big thing you learn as a creator is time management. A big thing I’ve been working on as a creator is....time management. 😂 It’s hard enough to start your own brand but even harder to start it right out the gate in your 20’s. One thing I’ve always loved about myself is my confidence to lead others even from such a young age. But it’s hard to lead others when you are not consistently showing up for them right? Well that’s been my battle this last month. After breaking my knuckle I had a really hard time trying to create content and honestly I didn’t want to. My hand would be in immense pain just trying to type or write in my notebook for content batching. So I didn’t show up. I allowed myself to melt in with the crowd. And if you know me you know I DO NOT FIT IN TO A NORMAL CROWD. So this was not right. Luckily, I’ve been working day in and day out on my mental health and I realized my slump and I took action! So what has Averee been up to these last three weeks?👀 I have been creating as much content as possible for you guys! I stopped consuming so much content and tuned into JUST the creation of content. Your NETWORK is your NETWORTH. One thing that has been more apparent to me in the last two years more than ever is, you are the sum of the 5 people you surround yourself with everyday. Your tribe is your vibe. If you hang around people who constantly complain and see the glass half empty, you are naturally going to develop this scarce mindset. Friends were the main reason I got up everyday to go to my jobs. Noah was about to lose his job from waking up late all the time (lol) and I was hopping from job to job just trying to stay afloat. 𝗡𝗼𝗮𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗻𝗼𝘄 are thriving in careers that we both LOVE. We are comfortable and truly so happy with where we are heading.
