While most people think of north, south or even east Africa when planning a trip to the diverse continent there’s a lot to experience on the west coast. Being so close to the coast Ghana, Benin, Nigeria and other West African countries served as ports to transport slaves to the America. West Africa does not have the wildlife that you can see in East and South Africa, but I did see monkeys, peacocks, and tortoises.

Lately my blog posts (and social media posts, and email communications) have been sporadic at best (nonexistent at worst).
