Amsterdam is a beautiful city… I need to go back and spend a bit more time there. But on my whirlwind tour through I saw a fair bit of its beauty. The day I visited it rained off and on the entire day, but it never seemed to last more than 5-10 minutes, then the sun would shine through. 😍 thank you @paraguayana for being my tour guide! ☺️🙏 #canalsofamsterdam #amsterdam #boattour #sightsofamsterdam
The Grand Place in Brussels, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with a beautiful mix of Baroque and Gothic architecture. It was rainy the day I visited, and they were setting up for a concert… but it did not take away from the breathtaking beauty! 😍❤️ #baroquearchitecture #gothicarchitecture #unescoworldheritagesite #rainyday☔
This weather keeps teasing us… hopefully, it will soon stay, and just get warmer. It is nice to get out and enjoy it for now! 😍❤️☀️ _____________ #springiscoming🌸 #lovingwarmerweather #hopingforspring #warmerweather #sunnydays☀️ #springwalk #walkinthesun
How can this not improve your mood? Ahh… mountains and water, always ground me! And Vancouver always calls to me… What place grounds you, or calls to you? ___________ #groundingmyself #groundingenergy #vancouver #myvancouver #happyplace #myhappyviews #iamhome #vancouverbc #vancouverlifestyle #mood #mountainsview
St Augustine, Florida is known as the oldest city in the US… some of its wonderful colonial architecture, natural beauty and history is captured in these images. But, there is so much more to the destination. It is wonderful to see the passion that the residents here have for their historic city, and how they want to share all of it with visitors. It was the first, of hopefully many more visits to this wonderful destination so I can explore and discover more. @floridashistoriccoast @viajasanagustin #viajasanagustin #visitstaugustine #staugustinefl #floridahistoriccoast #historiccity #colonialarchitecture
Street views in #Rome…always something beautiful to see. (IMO). 😍 I decided I would walk a little less this time here, ( try not to get lost) and decided to take the hop on,hop off bus to get my bearings, to help me navigate and see how far I needed to actually walk. Most of Rome is very walkable… but it can be a long day. The bus ( or metro) is an option to get you to an area so you can explore more. Even though September usually brings less people, it is still quite busy in many parts of Italy at the moment. #backinitaly #romecity #streetviews #sightseeing #cityviews #hoponhopoff #eternalcity #eternalcityroma #postpandemictravel #postpandemic #backtotravel #roma🇮🇹
A little late jumping onto this trend… but counting down to finally heading back to this incredible city… #Rome. This time without my lovely daughter, @alexofthewyatts. I enjoyed exploring with her, although it was much too short. Taking a few more days to enjoy it this time around! ❤️😍 #beautifulitaly🇮🇹 #eternalcityroma #eternalcity #Roma #thebeehiverome #internationaltravel #italy❤️ #solotravels
In 2015, four friends with a keen interest in rum, an affinity for the distilling process and a respect for the local history, opened the first ever “legal” distillery in the Outer Banks Area. The first, stories of rum being made at the time in order to stop the sickness that came from drinking tainted water (people who became sick were thought to have the devil inside), and the belief that the rum was strong enough to “kill the Devil”. The second, from stories of the rum caskets that washed ashore from the countless shipwrecks of the area in the early 1900’s, the locals would gather up all the rum and hide it in the sand dunes of the area, which were aptly named Kill Devil Hill. The towns of Corolla, Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Manteo, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, Avon, Buxton, Frisco, Hatteras and Ocracoke in North Carolina are collectively known as the Outer Banks.

I have been fortunate to visit Puerto Vallarta several times over the past few years; each time, I discover more and more about this magical place. As someone who was always a so-so seafood person, this is the place where I came to love it, and why I crave it often when I am away. The owner and chef of Café des Artistes, Thierry Blouet is known for creating great culinary experiences over the last 27 years in Puerto Vallarta… his creative style ( French cuisine, Mexico inspired) earning him several culinary awards for Best Chef of Mexico and Best Restaurant in Mexico. The annual Restaurant week is on now until June 10th, it is the perfect opportunity to experience many of the culinary delights this magical place has to offer with many restaurants participating.
