I had such a fun weekend racing with @specmx5 in Sebring! On saturday, I qualified the car P6 and race 1 was going well until…I accidentally hit the kill switch when shifting from 3rd to 4th 🫠🤦🏼‍♀️ Race 2 I started in 9th due to my silly mistake in race 1 and worked my way back up to finish P6. The kill switch has been relocated to a safer spot lol. This was my second race with @specmx5 this season and I’m learning more and getting faster every time I drive it! She’s baaack! It felt so good to be back in the car this weekend. For the past 16 months I have been in an accelerated nursing program. Let’s just say my head has been in the books and not in my helmet but I graduate in NINE DAYS!! I accepted a job in the emergency room and I AM BACK TO RACING. I had a great weekend racing Spec MX-5 in Daytona and can’t wait for the next event in Sebring!

So happy to be back in the car after a few months off! I’m officially more than halfway done with nursing school…It’s been hard juggling racing & school but as long as I’m at the track working towards my goals that’s all that matters. The Hoosier Super Tour was a great event with 91 spec miatas…and I had my annual Sebring birthday party 🥳 Left the weekend with a clean car and a smile on my face. We’ll be at Road Atlanta in March for the next HST!

missing @roadatlanta already :( This past weekend @jasonfichter__ and I took home 1st place in Sunday’s endurance race! It was my first time running with @specmx5… I learned a ton and I can’t wait to get back out there at Daytona. I’ll be running SM and SMX 🤩

Flying to Atlanta on Friday for my first @specmx5 race! Unfortunately, I have to miss the test day on Friday so straight to qualifying Saturday morning 🏁 Excited to be back @roadatlanta

it felt so good getting back into the race car with @worldracingleague. This is a brand new car and unfortunately there were some kinks to work out in the beginning of the race. We spent some time in the garage in the morning and lost about 80 laps but got the car back on track and finished the race strong. Although we were out of the running for the win, we came home with a clean car and some great memories with @turn7motorsports_ Thank you to @idealnutritionnow for your support and for fueling the team this weekend with sweet potato crusted chicken- our favorite. Thank you to Plant Botanical Vodka for fueling our post-race celebrations🥂 @plantlovesyou As always, thank you @lukeracecars and @treyin17 for keeping us out on track🏁

Our team brought home 3 podiums last weekend at Sebring! Jason and I split the 3 hour enduro in my spec mx-5 on Saturday night and finished 1st despite maybe accidentally running out of fuel 🤫 Finished 2nd place during the STL feature race on Sunday & @jasonfichterracing finished 3rd in his SM race! Thankful and proud of our team💗 Our next race is Road Atlanta Majors! 🏁
