Making playdough with marshmallow peeps or bunnies, is a great way to use those leftover peeps and celebrate the holiday with your kids. None Place 5 marshmallow peeps in a microwave safe bowl, add 4 Tablespoons of flour and 1 Tablespoon of Crisco. None Place in microwave and heat for 30 seconds, then mix well. If it gets a tad hard then pop back in the microwave for 5-10 seconds to soften.
If your toddler is acting out and throwing major tantrums after the new baby comes home, I first of all want you to know that this is a normal part of helping your toddler adjust to the new baby. The sheer number of times people find my blog everyday after searching something like “15 month old acting up after new baby comes home” or “older child throwing tantrums around new baby” should tell you that you are not alone in this struggle. If he or she is acting out of character, try to find a way in the next thirty minutes to spend some time just with the older child. Eventually, you won’t have to go out of your way to do this as much, but it can make the difference between sanity and utter chaos in the first few months with a new baby.
I realize it makes grocery shopping more efficient and 5pm less stressful, yet I still don’t enjoy the actual task of meal planning. With this method, you’ll only do each favorite once a month, so no one gets tired of anything, but you also don’t have to stress about finding something new or coming up with a dinner at 5pm. I love that this method can be as fluid and customized as you’d like for it to be, but it is also a fabulous way to keep you out of a dinner rut while still serving things you know your family will eat! Then, it has pages of games you can print and play with your family at the dinner table and even a few pages of conversation starters to help your family connect around the dinner table.
It can help the baby get in the right position for labor and best of all, for at least a few minutes you don’t feel like a cow and your back stops hurting. Just like swimming, an excercise ball can help get the baby into the proper position for labor, which is helpful, but I’ve never seen it jumpstart labor. In conclusion – Many of these techniques can adjust baby’s position to get him or her to the right spot for an easier labor, some release the hormones that you need to jumpstart labor, , a few have have no real reason why they should work, but some moms still swear by them! It seems that all of these techniques can help, but they won’t induce labor unless baby is ready.
