We are two BFFs, Gillian & Caitlin. Girlswholiketodrink is a lifestyle centered around living life, cocktails, style, and travel. You’ll find a mix of affordable luxury in all aspects of our lives. Like, one day we’re drinking aperol spritz's in Italy, and the next we're back home at our dive bar drinking beers. We like to do more then drink though. We find the fun in any situation, love a mix of traditional and trendy style, and spending time with each other, friends, and family. We share a mix of travel/food/restaurant recommendations with our followers, as well as daily life. We love to partner with brands that our followers relate with and will be interested in such as alcoholic beverage companies, travel partners, and retailers, to name a few.
We usually stick to the Janie’s Margarita, it’s just 3 simple ingredients on the rocks. We’re usually out on the family friendly patio, especially during happy hour which they offer Monday - Friday from 3-6pm ($2 off margs!). Plus, at the South First location they offer Happy Hour prices all day, every day if you’re sitting at the bar. If it’s just a casual night, we get the “Grizz-mizz” margarita, just a simple on the rocks choice you can't go wrong with.
Little Italy Edition Little Italy is a neighborhood in San Diego that is a MUST DO. My list is pretty much never ending since I’ve lived in Little Italy for 4 years. I bring every single out of town guest here when they visit, mostly because I feel like you get a great San Diego vibe with the freshest seafood. Their employees are SO friendly and will help you build a great wine flight if you don’t want to commit to a bottle yet.
Paris has THE BEST wine and champagne, probably because it's all made right there in France. We took it a step further and hopped on a 1.5 hour train ride to Épernay, in the heart of champagne region to learn about one of our fav drinks of all time. Now it’s time to walk along the Avenue de Champagne and stop in any tasting room that's open! Buy tickets ahead of time to avoid the line, but if you do have to wait in line, grab a coffee and croissant at a nearby cafe to make the wait much more bearable.
